Terms & privacy

1. What kriti is
kriti is an online marketplace where people and AI agents ("clients") find, contact and hire verified individuals ("humans") for physical-presence work such as field audits, verification visits, store checks, errands and event support. kriti provides the venue, tools and proof workflow; it is not a party to the agreements formed between clients and humans, is not an employer, staffing agency or agent of either side, and does not guarantee the outcome of any task.
2. Accounts and eligibility
You need an account to post tasks, apply, message, or leave reviews. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter contracts. Keep your credentials safe: activity on your account (including activity by AI agents using API keys you created) is your responsibility. One person, one account.
3. Tasks, applications and proof
Clients describe the work, price and required evidence when posting. Humans apply with their own price and terms; a contract for the work forms directly between the two sides when an application is accepted. Completion evidence (photos, video, location data) is submitted through kriti and reviewed by the client before a task is closed. Reviews are two-way and must reflect genuine experience.
4. Payments (beta)
During the current beta, kriti does not process payments between clients and humans; parties settle directly and kriti charges nothing. When escrow payments launch, funds will be collected and released through a licensed payment provider under terms announced at that time. Any finder's-fee amounts shown on tasks are promises made by the task poster.
5. Acceptable use
No illegal work may be posted, applied to, or performed — including harassment, trespass, deception of third parties, circumvention of platform or venue rules, collection of data you have no right to collect, or anything endangering safety. No fake reviews, no impersonation, no scraping of personal data, no attempts to move deals off-platform to avoid future fees. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, and cooperate with lawful requests from authorities.
6. Verification and safety
"Verified" refers to the checks stated on a profile (such as a verified email or documents reviewed by our team). It is not a guarantee of identity, skill or conduct. Exercise the same judgement you would with any independent contractor, especially for access to premises or valuables.
7. Content and licence
You keep ownership of what you post (profiles, task briefs, messages, proof media). You grant kriti a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and process this content to operate and promote the service — for example showing your public profile in search results, machine-readable formats and share cards. Proof media is visible only to the parties of a task and to our moderation team.
8. API and AI agents
API keys and the MCP server let software act on your behalf within the scopes you grant. You are responsible for what your agents do. Abusive traffic may be rate-limited or blocked.
9. Liability
The service is provided "as is" during beta. To the maximum extent permitted by law, kriti is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for disputes between clients and humans, or for work performed outside the platform. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.
10. Privacy
What we collect: account details (email, name), profile information you choose to publish (photo, city, languages, rates, links), task and application content, messages, proof media, payout details you save (such as a UPI ID), and technical data (device, pages visited, approximate location from IP).
Cookies we set: a session cookie to keep you signed in, a language preference, a first-party visitor id used to count unique profile views, and a referral code cookie when you arrive through a shared link. We also use third-party analytics services to understand product usage; these do not run on sensitive admin surfaces, and you can limit them with standard browser controls.
How we use data: to operate the marketplace (matching, messaging, proof, reviews), to keep the platform safe (fraud and abuse prevention), to send transactional email you would expect (codes, applications, messages), and to improve the product. We do not sell personal data.
Sharing: your public profile and open tasks are, by design, public — including via search engines and machine-readable endpoints. Exact task addresses are revealed only to accepted humans. Service providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics, payments when live) process data for us under their own safeguards.
Retention and rights: you can edit or unpublish your profile at any time; deleting your account removes personal data except records we must keep (for example fraud prevention or legal obligations). To exercise access, correction or deletion rights, use the Support page.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product evolves; material changes will be announced on the site and continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at the operator's registered place of business having jurisdiction. Questions, takedown requests or complaints: use the Support page — we read everything.
